He completed an MA in international project management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and has now been working in project management as a project manager, trainer and consultant for over 20 years. He is supporting a number of national and international companies with the optimisation of their project management practices. Christian Sterrer has coached people in more than 100 projects and has developed a number of highly efficient project management tools, as well as a new project management approach for managing small and medium-sized projects. His talks and seminars include a brief and succinct presentation of key project management themes and are aimed in particular at helping executives to gain a quick grasp of this complex topic and empower them to make the necessary decisions in their companies.
DI Gernot Winkler, consultant, author, lecturer at renowned universities and project management and strategy development expert, studied industrial engineering and management, and mechanical engineering at Graz University of Technology, as well as international project management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He has been dedicating himself to developing project-oriented organisations, supporting various organisational and strategic development as well as project management professionalisation projects for over 20 years and is responsible for developing international project management guidelines, as well as for the implementation of multi-project management structures in international conglomerates. In his talks, his knack for reducing intricate issues to just a few key points and making complex relationships easy to understand, really shine through. The second edition of the book was published in 2010 and it has been rated as one of the top 10 project management books by both retailers and on amazon.de from the day it was published. The two authors are in the process of writing yet more books on project management which will be published shortly.
