Recertification
Recertification serves to maintain the qualification credentials for project managers (Level D, C, B, A). It is different from the initial certification process and focuses on the project management activities and responsibilities and on the continuous professional and technical advancement of the certified individual since initial certification or the last recertification.
Prerequisites | process Level C and B
- Valid certificate: For the corresponding level
- Experience: Proof of at least 50% project management activity (Level B: from complex projects) since certification or since the last recertification over the entire period (if projects overlap, only one project is counted)
- Knowledge: At least 175 hours of professional and technical training since the first certification or last recertification over the entire period
Prerequisites | process Level D
- Valid certificate
- Experience: Proof of at least 350 person days of project management activity (PM, PTM, PP, etc.) since certification or since the last recertification over the entire period
OR - Knowledge: Proof of at least 175 hours of technical training since the first certification or last recertification over the entire period
OR - Experience and knowledge: A total of 350 points of project management activity (1 person day = 1 point) and training (1 hour of training = 2 points) is required under this variant
The recertification process
- The recertification process consists of a registration process and a review (optional: interview) by pma. If the results are positive, you will receive your new certificate after invoicing.
- Recertification is valid for five years.
