Leadership by example instead of leadership by might.
The world is VUCA: Things have become increasingly fast-paced, requirements can change from one day to the next, complexity has skyrocketed, and managers in an agile environment are faced with radically altered parameters. Stripped of their hierarchy, organisational models and shifting values call for a new understanding of leadership and a new management attitude. But what is the essence of agile leadership? How does it differ from a conventional leadership style? When and in what form is agile leadership needed in a company? In this seminar, you will become familiar with principles, techniques, and methods of agile leadership, understand which framework conditions a cross-functional, autonomous, and self-organised team needs, and how you can develop and promote a culture of agility. Find out how you can bolster your co-workers' capacity, to act and take personal responsibility, create a culture of trust, optimise decisions, and dispense with direct management and regimentation, and in so doing, increase their motivation and innovative capacity – with a view to the most valuable resource: people.
